Returns Policy

RETURNS

Although uncommon, we understand that an order might need to be returned to us for a number of reasons. Please email us at sales@tuffcarparts.com.au before sending anything back to make sure the correct process is followed.

1) You changed your mind

  • We offer a 30 day return policy for change of mind.  That means if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you are welcome to return it to us up to 30 days after you received it for your choice of exchange or full refund, excluding original delivery costs.
  • To be eligible for a refund or exchange, all items returned must be received by us in brand new, unused condition, sealed in their original shipped packaging, and include all parts and accessories.  Any sealed package item must remain sealed.  All returned items must include all internal and external packaging, accessories, swing tags, labels and manuals, and must not have been test fitted, used, marked or damaged in any way. Any product returned must be in the same condition you received it and in the original, undamaged packaging.  If this is not the case, the return may be rejected or only a partial refund may be given.
  • Items must be returned to us via tracked postage or courier and insured for their full replacement value.  COD deliveries will be rejected.  Without a verifiable tracking number, you accept full risk of the item not reaching us.  Any items received in damaged condition will not be eligible for a refund.  If you have insured the return, you will need to claim on that insurance separately.  Returns not received by us will not qualify for replacement or refund.
  • You will need to pay any return costs, and these are non-refundable. For exchanges, you will need to pay the cost of sending a replacement product back to you.
  • A restocking fee of 20% will be deducted from all eligible refunds for change of mind.
  • Eligible refunds will be paid within 10 business days (excluding public holidays and weekends) less any delivery charged on the original transaction.
  • You must include the original tax invoice when you return the item.

2) The item arrived damaged or missing parts

  • All orders leave our warehouse in brand new undamaged condition.  If your item arrives damaged or missing parts, we will replace it for you (or if stocks are exhausted, refund you in full) and reimburse you for any return shipping costs you incur to return the item to us.  Please send us a copy of the receipt to sales@tuffcarparts.com.au for any shipping costs you incur.
  • All claims for damaged items must be made no later than the next business day after you received your order.  Claims lodged later than this cannot be accepted.  It is important that you open your order as soon as you get it, and notify us immediately if there is any damage.
  • Please take photographs of the damage and send them to us at sales@tuffcarparts.com.au so we can report it to our insurer, carrier and warehouse.
  • Items must be returned to us via tracked postage or courier and insured for their full replacement value.  COD deliveries will be rejected.  Without a verifiable tracking number, you accept full risk of the item not reaching us.  Any items received in a more damaged condition than shown in the photographs you provide us before sending it back, will not be eligible for a refund.  If you have insured the return, you will need to claim on that insurance separately.  Returns not received by us will not qualify for replacement or refund.

3) The item is faulty

  • Your purchase automatically comes with protections under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. All of our products are fully backed by manufacturer warranty.
  • Should your product be faulty, please contact us via sales@tuffcarparts.com.au so we can guide you through the correct process for having the fault rectified under the manufacturer warranty.  Depending on the manufacturer's warranty terms and requirements, we will either repair or replace it for you (or if stocks are exhausted, refund you) excluding original delivery costs.
