This air muffler delete kit from Autotecnica is a great way to get improved air flow, throttle response and intake sound from your XR6 Turbo. This kit replaces the restrictive air intake muffler with a mandrel bent 3.5" alloy air intake pipe, combined with high quality 90mm multi-layer silicone joiners and Stainless T-Bolt clamps.

The original Ford intake pipe is prone to splitting under boost load, losing you performance and causing your engine to inhale dirty, hot, unfiltered air - which can chew your turbo blades, or even worse, destroy your whole engine. This kit replaces the prone to failure original Ford rubber pipe with an alloy version, that is also beaded on both ends to prevent the silicone joiners rolling off, which is a common failure on some other aftermarket kits.
