The Elecbrakes EB2 Bluetooth Electric Brake Controller meets the requirements of ADR 38/05 regulations for trailer braking up to 4,500kg ATM that have electric or electric over hydraulic braking systems. This includes but is not limited to caravans, camper trailers, toy haulers, tradie trailers, equipment hire trailers, agricultural trailers, car trailers, boat trailers and horse floats. Using the standard wiring setup the Elecbrakes EB2 Bluetooth Electric Brake Controller supports braking on two axles, with all wheels braked.

The Elecbrakes EB2 Bluetooth Electric Brake Controller is also compatible with both 12-Volt and 24-Volt systems ranging from as low as 10-Volts to 27.6-Volts. The system automatically adjusts its output for a 12-Volt system, ensuring seamless operation with your trailer’s brakes.

How it works:
The system effectively allows you to ‘turn up’ or ‘turn down’ your overall braking force. The brakes are still applied proportionally, meaning if you brake the vehicle gently it will comfortably apply the trailer brakes more softly than if you were to brake the vehicle with more force. This range of braking can be increased or decreased to suit your specific conditions or trailer load. Even if your phone or In Car Battery Remote (*available separately in our store) suddenly turned off or stopped working, your trailer brakes will still continue to function at the last setting you had them at.

The system performs incredibly smoothly. The accelerometer and electronics inside the controller adjusts for any changes in speed 1,000 times per second. Whilst most other brake controllers have 10 increments in their settings to change the overall response, the Elecbrakes EB2 Bluetooth Electric Brake Controller has 100, along with adjustable responses for reversing and the manual override.
