The MSD LS 2-step launch control is designed so that when you’re staged, you can hold the pedal to the floor, and the RPM will sit at your pre-set level, producing consistent launches.

Your engine doesn’t have to be red-lining for a perfect launch.

With two rotary adjustment screws located on the harness side of the unit, the RPM can easily be adjusted between 1,000 – 10,900, in 100 and 1000 RPM increments, allowing you to perfectly dial into the sweet spot in your engines rev range where you’ll get the most amount of effective torque, and minimum wheel spin.

The installation of the MSD LS 2-step launch control is easy with detailed installation instructions, and factory-style plug & play connectors. It even has a built in LED on the unit that will illuminate when the 2-step launch control is active. The unit is designed for Ford 5.0L V8 2011-2016.

As outlined in the supplied instructions, depending on what is most suitable for your setup, the launch control unit can be installed with activation via a grounding wire or when switched to 12 volts.

Fitment Notes:

• The engine rpm must drop more than one-third of the set launch limit in order to activate.
  • For example, if the launch limit is set at 3,000 rpm, the engine speed must drop below 2,000 rpm in order for the launch limit to become active (one-third of 3,000 rpm is a 1,000 rpm drop).
