Morel's Street Performance Roller Lifters are reasonably priced thanks to modern Cold Casting Technology and offer exceptional durability and performance.
OEM & most aftermarket lifters use a swedged axle design, meaning they distort the ends of the axle for a press fit in the lifter bores. This approach simply isn't reliable or durable enough in high performance applications; such as when a high performance cam is used in your engine.
Morel instead use a wire-loc retaining system with a floating axle, much like floating pins in your pistons. This is the best deterrent to keep the axle in the bore in high performance applications, and is a huge upgrade over the swedged axle design used in most other lifters on the market.
