Introducing Australia's first range of performance street and race shifters! Aeroflow's Bang Shift shifters are designed specifically for the Australian market with the led lit gear indicator on the right hand side making them far easier to use and see, as well as being engineerable. This is in stark contrast to the traditional B&M shifters, which are manufactured for the left hand drive American market, with the gear indicator on the left hand side which makes it difficult see and uncomfortable to use when driven in our cars down under.
The Bang Shift by Aeroflow Pistol Ratchet shifter is a full ratchet shifter that not only performs great on the street but also on the drag strip. This positive ratchet design self-centres the handle in the middle of the shifter so all the user has to do is click once up or click once down for each gear, it's just that simple! No reason to ever miss a gear either up or down by over shifting. With this self-centred design it allows maximum clearance for tight fitting consoles in all vehicle applications.
To back up the incredible ratchet mechanism inside this Pistol shifter, it is encased in a full billet aluminium bolt together bespoke outer cover, giving that high quality finish that's equally at home in your street or race car! The Pistol shifter features a bolt on centre cover with a rubber insert to keep unwanted dirt and dust out of the mechanism, as well as a reverse lockout feature that only requires one hand to operate.

The pistol grip handle attached to the shifter stick is a handy two piece bolt together design that allows interchangeable billet side plates with buttons to be purchased separately. Along with a matching reverse lockout handle that only requires one hand to operate.
The Pistol shifter includes an LED lit gear position indicator in the top plate, two micro-switches for reverse lights and a neutral safety switch preventing accidental starts when in gear, all to keep the engineer happy and your vehicle safe.
Included with this kit is an Aeroflow Performance 5-foot long heavy duty, race shifter cable, all necessary hardware, detailed instructions for an easy installation you can do at home, cable brackets and transmission shifter levers to suit a range of automatic transmissions (please refer to Fitment Notes below).
The supplied Aeroflow Performance hard core heavy duty Race 5 foot shifter cable is the must have cable, whether it's a street car or a race car. With a large 9.52mm (3/8") outer diameter cable housing that is pre-lubed with HPRE oil for smooth operation. They are designed with enough clearance to reduce backlash with a 9.52mm (0.375") 'long-lay' outer jacket for durability which is less likely to kink during operation.
The cable features an eyelet at one end to connect to the shifter, a 10-32 threaded end at the transmission side of the cable with rotary swaged ends.
