The MSD digital e-curve distributor is a stand-alone distributor that will drop in, connect up with a simple 3-wire connection, and fire up. There are no external control boxes to mount and connect, and no more springs or bushings to change.

The new high output digital module allows you to select one of nearly 100 different advance curves, including vaccum advance, utilising two rotary dials. Managed by a microprocessor built into the ignition module, a magnetic pickup is used as a reliable and accurate trigger device that tells the ignition module when to fire the coil. The total amount of any timing change that can be achieved is 34-degrees: 25-degree for the electronic advance, with vacuum an additional 9-degree.

The distrubutor is also equipped with a 5,000-10,000RPM adjustable rev limiter that will protect your engine from overrev damage caused by a missed shift or driveline failure.

Both adjustments for the electronic advance curves and rev limiter are accessed by removing the MSD Rynite moulded cap and rotor.

Fitment Notes:

• The terminals of this distributor require spark plug style terminals. You may need to change the terminals and boots of your wires. If required, MSD Part#8849 and #8848 wire kits are supplied with nine boots and terminals.
