The SAAS in-dash digital turbo timer is programmable to keep your engine running from 30-seconds to 9-minutes allowing time for your turbo intake and exhaust housing some much-needed cooldown time. By shutting your engine off straight after a good run, the hot engine oil is left sitting between the turbo compressors, which in time can lead to blown seals, carbon build-up, scoring and failure of the turbo. The turbo timer keeps the engine running allowing the oil to circulate and cool, increasing the life of your turbo.
